Cost per month of access

Simple division of the advertised price by the advertised access length. It ignores the quality, size and style of the content, so it tells you about cost only.

PharmX 6 months (+2 free)

£399 for 8 months: about £49.88 a month.

Six checks before you buy any of them

  1. Total you will pay, not the monthly headline. An instalment plan can cost more than paying in full.
  2. How long access lasts, and whether it starts at purchase or at first login.
  3. Whether the questions match the GPhC style: single best answer, extended matching and calculations.
  4. Whether every answer has an explanation that covers the wrong options.
  5. A free trial or free questions you can try before paying.
  6. The refund terms, read on the checkout page rather than a marketing page.

Try the official GPhC example questions first, then judge a bank by its explanations. Our mock exam guide shows how to test one.

Frequently asked questions

Who wrote this comparison?

PreRegExamPrep, which is one of the four products listed. We have an obvious interest, so we have kept to what each provider advertises, shown the arithmetic, and said what we could not check.

Are these the prices I will pay at checkout?

Not necessarily. These are the prices shown on each provider page on 1 October 2026. We did not go through checkout, so taxes, discount codes and instalment terms may change the total. Check the provider page before you buy.

Which question bank is best?

We do not rank them. The GPhC Board of Assessors says it does not endorse external revision materials, so test any provider against the official example questions and pick the one whose explanations help you learn.

Why are some providers missing?

We only listed providers whose price we could read on their own page on the date above. Others exist. If a price is wrong or has changed, tell us through the contact page.
